Mobile crane lifts construction crane over treetops

Following the completion of the shell of the Berg brewery's beer garden building in the Berg district of Ehingen, the construction crane from Neubrand Baugeschäft + Holzbau GmbH in Volkersheim had to be dismantled and lifted from the construction site over trees for onward transportation. ESB Kranverleih Transport und Hebetechnik GmbH from Mittelbiberach took on the tricky crane job under tight operating conditions with a Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane. Find out more

Strong, long and easy: Liebherr presents the LTM 1400-6.1, the world's most powerful 6-axle crane

The Liebherr factory in Ehingen has updated its product range and launched the world's most powerful 6-axle crane: the new LTM 1400-6.1 has a 70-metre telescopic boom and is characterised by clever and simple set-up processes. The new crane is the successor to the proven and successful LTM 1350-6.1. Like its predecessor, the LTM 1400-6.1 is now the smallest crane with Y-guying, making it the perfect introduction to this boom technology with its enormous increase in lifting capacity. The new all-rounder is extremely flexible and economical thanks to a wide range of accessories, a highly functional modular boom kit and the familiar Liebherr technologies. The simple tool for finding the right crane and the optimum configuration for a specific load case has been improved in many areas and now includes new integrated features. The Crane Finder is now also available as an app for smartphones and tablets. It offers increased user-friendliness and, thanks to the mobile application, is even more flexible than before. Additive manufacturing: Liebherr reaches major milestone

Liebherr-Aerospace has made the next major step regarding additive manufacturing of parts with increased complexity for aerospace application. The first-tier supplier has successfully integrated a 3D-printed flex shaft in the Airbus A350 high lift system. The unit has been approved by Airbus as well as by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency EASA for serial production. Find out more
