SCHOLPP expands crane fleet with six new Liebherr mobile cranes

SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH based in Stuttgart has ordered six new mobile cranes with load capacities between 70 tonnes and 350 tonnes from Liebherr. All the cranes feature the VarioBase® Variable Supporting Base. The first of two LTM 1100-4.2 models ordered has already been delivered and has already completed several jobs successfully. Two Liebherr R 980 SME models for direct excavation: Schwenk Zement KG brings 100 tonne crawler excavator into operation

To increase its productivity, Schwenk Zement KG recently decided to purchase two Liebherr R 980 SME crawler excavators. The investment in the two 100 tonne excavators was made through the Ulm-based Liebherr sales partner, Nagel Baumaschinen Ulm GmbH. Liebherr supplies 58 Tower Cranes for the New Airport in Istanbul

It is an ambitious project with lots of superlatives and at the same time the largest single order in the history of the Liebherr Tower Cranes division: The new Istanbul Airport will be the largest airport in the world with around 150 million passengers passing through it every year from 2020. A total of 58 EC-H series cranes will be used to build the "İstanbul Yeni Havalimanı". The first of these tower cranes were delivered recently and will remain installed at the airport until 2018. Liebherr LR 1600/2 crawler crane hoists Airbus A-300

The service life of the "Zero-G" parabolic aircraft came to an end with a spectacular hoist over the fence at Cologne-Bonn Airport. The heavy load experts from Riga Mainz hoisted the 82-tonne Airbus A-300 from the airport's apron using a Liebherr LR 1600/2 crawler crane and a sophisticated combination of attachment equipment. The aircraft will now become a museum exhibit on show to the general public. Find out more

The findings of the investigations of the Liebherr crane experts from Ehingen are available now: Crane in Mecca was technically faultless.

A crawler crane of the type LR 11350 manufactured by Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH collapsed on 11 September 2015 on the Grand Mosque in Mecca (Saudi Arabia) killing more than 100 people and injuring hundreds of others. Find out more
