Team players – three crane contractors from northern Germany jointly take delivery of new mobile cranes at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen

Three crane hire companies based in northern Germany, Sönke Jordt, Schwarze ASC and Megalift jointly took delivery of three new cranes at the end of February in the Liebherr production plant in Ehingen; two LTM 1070-4.2 machines and an LTC 1050-3.1. The joint handover photograph demonstrates the good collaboration between the three companies – using the slogan “Together – for the good of the customer”. Find out more

Reinforcement for wind power – Myshak Group invests in first two Liebherr LG 1750 SX lattice boom mobile cranes in North America

Canadian crane and heavy haul contractor Myshak Crane & Rigging Ltd. took delivery of their first Liebherr LG 1750 SX mobile crane in December 2019 and their second upcoming in April 2020. The 750-tonne lattice boom crane will reinforce the company’s crane fleet and is mainly intended for jobs in the wind power industry. They are the first two LG 1750 with the powerful SX boom system in North America. Find out more

Telescopic truck-mounted crane hoists work platform through a gym roof

For the new-build gymnasium at a primary school in the south of Berlin, a telescopic work platform had to be hoisted over the roof into the site as access inside the hall itself was simply not possible. Crane contractor Herrmann & Wittrock used a Liebherr LTF 1060-4.1 truck-mounted crane from its branch in Gross Kienitz to hoist the eight-tonne device into position in constricted conditions. Family-run Kran & Transport Lausitz takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 mobile crane

A new LTM 1050-3.1 is going to Schleife in the District of Görlitz in East Saxony. Family-run Kran & Transport Lausitz will use the Liebherr 50-tonne mobile crane to replace a 15-year-old LTM 1045-3. One important criterion behind the purchase decision was that the LTM 1050-3.1 can carry the majority of its counterweights on public roads. That means it can be used quickly and flexibly as a taxi crane. Find out more

69 mobile and crawler cranes – Al Faris places major order with Liebherr

Al Faris Group has placed an order with Liebherr for 69 mobile and crawler cranes. The crane company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has ordered cranes worth around 80 million euros. The order includes two LTC 1050-3.1 compact cranes, mobile cranes with lifting capacities from 55 to 650 tonnes and three crawler cranes with lifting capacities from 400 to 800 tonnes. Find out more

Liebherr crane seminar in Saudi Arabia – training is an important factor for ensuring that cranes operate efficiently

Well trained specialists are the key to the success for every company. For jobs in the high Alps – Clausen purchases second Liebherr LTR 1060 crawler crane

Swiss crane contractor Clausen has had a Liebherr LTR 1060 telescopic crawler crane in its fleet since 2013. It has proven its outstanding off-road properties many times for jobs at high altitudes in the Pennine Alps region. As a result of its great experience with the Liebherr crane and its full order books, Clausen has now purchased a second LTR 1060.
