Drive systems for maritime, wind energy and industrial applications: The Liduro Converter for electric drive systems is distinguished by its high power density and protection level. All components of the liquid-cooled system are low2no maintenance products. They are designed for reliable operation in extreme ambient conditions and meet the highest requirements regarding lifetime, operational safety and efficiency.

The AC/AC and DC-Bus multi drive systems have power ranges from 110 to 4,000 kW and are available as stand-alone and complete systems.

Extreme power density

The high power density of the Liduro Converter Units allow very compact installations with a small footprint and installations close to the application.

Liquid cooling: The cooling systems of Liduro components allow high performances with a small construction volume. They can be installed in closed converter cabinets (low noise emissions) and within very high or very low ambient temperatures.

Durable, safe, reliable

The highly efficient and homogeneous cooling avoids high temperature load cycles and thus extends the lifetime of the semiconductor elements.

Modular system, small installation spaces

Liduro components are developed and optimized for usage as stand alone products as well as for system usage and integration. As a system, they achieve a maximized, unique efficiency.

The Liduro Converters can be set up according to application-specific spatial requirements. The modular system is easily scalable and can be combined with the Liduro Energy Storage System LES 300.

Low2no maintenance

Liduro systems are low2no-maintenance products based on their design, quality and protection concept. Continuous monitoring of processes and status information increase the intrinsic protection and extend the device's overall operating time.

Active overvoltage protection: Very fast overvoltage protection functions (active clamping) directly on the semiconductors prevent semiconductor failures due to transient overvoltages.

Less space required, fewer failures: The optional brake chopper of the converter unit supports dynamic braking processes for motors or generators, with the same module size.

Application-specific control functions: The power modules can be parameterized using software for highly dynamic drive solutions and complex control functions.

Reduced spare parts inventory: The power supply units and the motor/generator units are equally sized and can be interchanged as required. The function of the converter unit LCU 300 is determined by software.

Simple connections: The good accessibility of the phase connections from the front allows a quick exchange or power increase of the modules.

Application-specific solutions

Industry: Liduro Drive is specifically designed for single or multi-axis large-scale industrial installations. It covers applications such as sugar refineries, cement production or water treatment plants.

Maritime: Liduro Marine is suitable for use in main drives and steel rudders on ships, as well as for winches and drives in maritime cranes.

Solutions for the wind energy sector

Liduro Wind can be used in wind turbines with permanent magnet synchronous generators and externally excited synchronous generators.
