New top dog – Sommer invests in Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane

Sommer Kranverleih GmbH based in Bremen has upgraded its fleet – the 800 tonne LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane is now the company’s flagship. The Liebherr 9-axle crane is now supplied as standard with new lifting capacity values which upgrade the crane almost throughout its entire operating range. The performance of the LTM 1750-9.1 has been significantly upgraded particularly for wind power jobs. Find out more

“The V-frame makes us extremely flexible”

The fourth generation of the owner family of crane and heavy haulage contractor Wiesbauer GmbH made their first trip to the Liebherr plant in Ehingen to take delivery of a crane. This traditional family-run company based in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Baden-Württemberg) has significantly upgraded its crane fleet. Not only did the Swabian company take delivery of another LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane, but an LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane and a new 1000 tonne crawler crane were also added to its fleet. This LR 11000 celebrated a fantastic premiere in summer by hoisting a bridge to the north-east of Stuttgart. Find out more

Historic backdrop – Wilden hoists work platform out of the river using Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 mobile crane

Work platforms are regularly placed into the water of the River Wupper in Wuppertal for the annual inspections of the car and pedestrian bridges over it. The latest technology for erecting wind turbines - new major order from MaxiKraft for Liebherr

Crane and heavy haulage contractor MaxiKraft has placed an order with Liebherr for lattice boom cranes for industrial and wind power jobs – the order for LR 1800-1.0 and LR 11000 crawler cranes and the LG 1750 lattice boom mobile crane is the largest single order for lattice boom cranes that Liebherr has ever received from within Germany. Norwest Crane Hire brings first LRT 1100-2.1 to Australia

The Australian company Norwest Crane Hire recently invested in two new cranes: an LTM 1300-6.2 and an LRT 1100-2.1 from Liebherr. The 100-tonne rough-terrain crane is the first of its type anywhere in Australia. Find out more
