In New York City, the new Liebherr Luffing Crane 710 HC-L starts with its job

The first Liebherr luffing crane 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic has recently been erected on the MoMA Tower jobsite in New York City (USA) and just started its work. Together with a second 710 HC L, that will be delivered mid 2016, the two tower cranes help to build the 76 story building in Midtown Manhattan. With a height of 320m (1,050ft), the skyscraper will be one of the highest buildings in the city. Both cranes are leased from the North American Liebherr dealer Morrow to the contractor Sorbara Construction, Lynbrook, New York. Find out more

Zermatt Mark II: Liebherr LTR 1060 Crawler Crane from Clausen completes mountain tour at an altitude of around 2,900 metre

The Liebherr LTR 1060 telescopic crawler crane from Swiss crane contractor Clausen has already demonstrated its outstanding off-road capabilities many times. The LTR 1060 has now completed another extreme tour at an immense altitude of 2900 metres. It was required at the foot of the Matterhorn to help construct the mountain station for the new Hirli chairlift. The experienced team from Clausen and the Liebherr crane overcame the challenge with ease using its alpine experience and outstanding crane technology. Find out more

Liebherr 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top Crane at Excon 2015

At Excon 2015 in Bengaluru, Liebherr is presenting the 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top crane. This crane model is being assembled at Liebherr's Pune plant since 2012. The 85 EC B 5i has the potential to exceed the 71 EC-B, currently Liebherr's most popular model in India, which offers widely similar specifications. The 85 EC-B 5i has a maximum load capacity of 5,000kg and can lift 1,300kg at the jib end, up to a maximum working radius of 50m. Find out more

Liebherr-Components presents newly developed power modules and frequency inverter system

Liebherr will be presenting its new LCU-A and LCU-C power modules for low voltage applications at the SPS IPC Drives 2015 electrical automation exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany from 24 to 26 November. These can be integrated into a modular control cabinet frequency inverter system. The power modules provide an output range of 110 kW to 1,000 kW. Find out more
