Liebherr mobile cranes slide the Wuppertal suspension railway trains into retirement

After around 45 years’ operation, WSW Mobil, the operating company behind the Wuppertal suspension railway, has replaced the final generation 72 trains. After a maximum of 45 years in operation, the trains were removed and taken to new sites. After a great deal of controversy broke out about the old trains, in addition to being sold, some of them where in fact raffled. Two LTF 1060-4.1 from Neeb were used for assembly work at one of the new sites. Find out more

Liebherr cranes make expensive floating crane use superfluous

The Mammoet outlet in Leuna made quite an impression with a smart solution and the use of two large Liebherr mobile cranes on a site in Berlin. The positioning of lattice supports weighing around 80 tonnes for a future municipal railway bridge from just one side of the river made both financial and logistic sense compared to the use of a floating crane, which was also considered. Liebherr at the Pollutec 2018 trade fair

As of 27 November, Liebherr hosts a stand at the 40th Pollutec trade fair. Focusing on earthmoving, material handling and in-house developed components Liebherr can be found in the exhibition area for recycling, recovery and reuse at stand hall 3B / booth No. 123. At the leading international exhibition on internal combustion engine technology, Engine China 2018, Liebherr presents its newly-developed hydraulic injection components to the Chinese market for the first time. These are specifically designed for engines in the power class from 1 to 2.7-litre displacement per cylinder.
