For jobs in the high Alps – Clausen purchases second Liebherr LTR 1060 crawler crane

Swiss crane contractor Clausen has had a Liebherr LTR 1060 telescopic crawler crane in its fleet since 2013. It has proven its outstanding off-road properties many times for jobs at high altitudes in the Pennine Alps region. As a result of its great experience with the Liebherr crane and its full order books, Clausen has now purchased a second LTR 1060. This crane is also planned for jobs on mountain sites involving steep, difficult access. Find out more

Liebherr supports Weihenstephan Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences with L 506 compact loader for GaLaBau project

Under the motto of “Climate Move”, Weihenstephan Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) is constructing a sustainable garden as part of a project for the State Horticultural Show 2020 in Ingolstadt. A total of 55 students from Germany and France are responsible for the project. The aim is to implement the theme of sustainability as a general principle when carrying out the construction. Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH is sponsoring the project by providing a compact loader L 506 to aid the construction work. Find out more

The most successful large crane of all time – 600th Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane delivered to Crane Korea

Just four years after Liebherr delivered the 500th LTM 1500-8.1, the 600th has now been handed over in a special ceremony. The crane was delivered to Korean crane contractor Crane Korea Co. Ltd, where the new 500-tonne machine will replace an LTM 1400/1. The LTM 1500 8.1 is the most successful telescopic crane in its segment and has gained Liebherr a delivery record in the large crane class. Find out more

Maryland-based Digging & Rigging takes delivery of LTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane at Conexpo 2020

Introduced to the world at Conexpo 2020 in Las Vegas, the LTM 1120-4.1 is the most powerful 4-axle crane in its class. Digging & Rigging is adding the first LTM 1120-4.1 to its fleet. The 217 ft (66 meter) boom is the longest in class and has extremely high lifting capacities at steep boom positions. This increases flexibility and saves costs, as this crane can tackle jobs which would normally require a 5-axle crane. Find out more
