Fourth Liebherr LR 13000 crawler crane handed over

A ceremony was held in the evening sunshine last autumn – Liebherr family shareholders and members of the Mobile Cranes Division Board, Willi Liebherr and Sophie Albrecht, handed over a Liebherr LR 13000 crawler crane to Russian company Titan-2. Christoph Kleiner, Managing Director of Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH, was also present at the ceremony. The 3000 tonne crane is the most powerful conventional crawler crane in the world. Bruns Schwerlast GmbH from Suelzetal near Magdeburg (Germany) has received a Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane. The new crane will replace an LTM 1100-5.2. Five Liebherr 542 HC-L 18/36 tower cranes were instrumental in helping Las Vegas’s newest landmark take shape from the ground up. Morrow chose the Liebherr 542HC-L 18/36 cranes for their robust capacities and fast line speeds. Located on the north end of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, the five cranes all reached a hook height of 686 ft. Find out more

Replacement after a decade: Horn takes delivery of new Liebherr LTM 1100-5.2 mobile crane

Horn Autokrane from Werdau in Saxony (Germany) has taken delivery of a new LTM 1100-5.2 mobile crane from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen. The new 100-tonne crane replaces a ten year old mobile crane of the same type, but offers innovations that further improve the safety, economy and comfort of Liebherr mobile cranes: including ECOmode, VarioBase® and TraXon gear unit with ECOdrive. Working Hand-in-Hand with Boeing

In 2007, the Liebherr-Aerospace office in Seattle, Washington (USA) started out with a core team of three people to support the 747-8 Environmental Control System developed and manufactured by Liebherr for the Boeing 747-8. Liebherr’s new pallet handling system with turning and milling centres

High performance and the use of state-of-the-art technologies in production play an important role at Liebherr. With this in mind, Liebherr Components has introduced a new pallet handling system (PHS) at its production site in Biberach (Germany).
