The remanufacturing program (reman) covers the following Liebherr components:

• Diesel and gas engines
• Travel and swiveling drives
• Splitter boxes
• Hydraulic pumps and motors
• Hydraulic cylinders
• Axles (made by Dana)
• Rope winches

There is a choice of three different remanufacturing levels depending on the budget, residual machine value, and possible downtime.

Exchange component

For a preemptive order of an exchange component the downtime of the machine is under 24 hours, as the component in use is only removed after the exchange component has been delivered. The used component is completely dismantled after it has been removed. Paint is cleaned from useable individual parts, they are then cleaned, and assessed and remanufactured in compliance with strict guidelines. There is a refund for the used component, a new part warranty for the exchange component.

General overhaul

For the general overhaul, the customer's own component is restored to its original technical condition at a fixed price. Full disassembly and cleaning is included. All parts subject to wear are replaced, and a new part warranty is given on the whole component.

Repair

For this option, components are checked for faults in the Reman Competence Center. The customer is then provided with a separate cost estimate for subsequent repairs. The warranty also extends over the whole component for a repair.
