Liebherr-Ettlingen GmbH utilizes this potential and specializes in efficient remanufacturing of drive components. In addition to the general overhaul and repair of drive components it also manufactures exchange components.

Remanufactured drive components from Ettlingen
Since 2004 used drive components have been remanufactured and given a general overhaul in compliance with industrial standards at the Ettlingen plant. Liebherr-Ettlingen GmbH manufactures high-quality remanufactured components here. They are used in Liebherr for construction machines, handling equipment, and mining vehicles, as well as in mobile cranes and maritime cranes. State-of-the-art test benches ensure the quality so that the standard is the same as that for original new parts. Liebherr-Ettlingen GmbH gives a comprehensive warranty on all its remanufactured and repaired components.
Customers can choose between three remanufacturing levels according to their needs:
- Exchange component
- General overhaul
- Repair
Post-production of individual parts
Individual parts that are currently unavailable or are have been taken out of the product range can be quickly and economically produced in the 5-axes machining center. The machine is able to process work pieces up to a weight of 2,000kg. Liebherr-Ettlingen GmbH can also make entire engine blocks if needed.
