Scottish lifting and transport service provider Leggat Plant Ltd, part of the Mellex Group Ltd, is expanding its fleet with an LTM 1650-8.1.

The 8-axle crane effortlessly completes lifting jobs in the 700-tonne class and even higher. Equipped with an 80-metre telescopic boom and a 91-metre hydraulic offset luffing jib the Liebherr mobile crane reaches lifting heights of up to 152 metres.In addition to some other brands of mobile cranes, the Leggat Plant fleet now has a total of four Liebherr cranes. “We are very proud to have the largest mobile crane on the market joining our fleet with the LTM 1650-8.1,” says a delighted Darran Mellish, Director of Mellex Group Ltd. Similar to the other cranes within the fleet, the 8-axle crane will be used in a wide range of industrial projects – not just in Glasgow but throughout the UK.
