The new Liebherr mobile harbour crane

With its new mobile harbour crane, Liebherr presents groundbreaking technical developments and updates that make the LHM product series fit for the future. The new LHM is more digital, more efficient and impresses with a modern exterior design. A new crane control system, advanced sensor integration and digital information transmission enable future assistance and partial automation systems. In addition, the Liebherr Pactronic hybrid system and the operator's cab have been improved to meet customer needs.

The colour compositions of the latest LHM generation combine the classic Liebherr yellow with new accents in black, grey, and white. The agile-looking design reflects how long-standing tradition and corporate values combine with advanced technologies. The blue accent in the colour composition and also the blue E-symbol next to the crane type, give all alternatively powered machines a distinctive look.

Next step towards all-electric

Bulk handling with cranes on barges or transshippers of any size is steadily increasing. The cranes used so far are often too short for direct transshipments. In addition, they have a high energy requirement. In view of the ever-stricter environmental regulations and the increasing requirements, new solutions are needed. Liebherr's first all-electric floating crane will solve all these problems.

Compact cranes – Versatile wind

Often, the offshore wind market is defined rather through the work of heavy lift cranes. This is basically true concerning the ‘rough’ parts, such as the installation monopiles or movement of heavy structures. But supporting work during installation and ongoing processes such as on converter platforms, plays a decisive part in the lifecycle of wind farms and wind wheels respectively. Our smart, compact and versatile Ram Luffing crane (RL) is made for these tasks.

First emission-free LPS E for Rostock

Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH has delivered a fully electric gantry crane of the type LPS 420 E to the port handling company Euroports Germany in Rostock. All crane movements of the new machine are carried out by means of emission-free electric motors. With this sustainable investment, Euroports is increasing its handling capacity in the Rostock overseas port. For Liebherr, it is the first machine of its type in Europe.
