As the Service Manager for the Earthmoving division of Liebherr New Zealand you will lead an experienced and dynamic team delivering high quality after sales support and ensure achievement of KPI’s whilst identifying opportunities in the market for further growth.

Liebherr Earthmoving supports a wide range of customers across a variety of industries across New Zealand. Our product range includes Wheeled Excavators, Bulldozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, Wheel Loaders, Material Handlers, and Excavators to name just a few.

This opportunity is best suited to an individual with extensive experience in the industry who is both motivated and customer focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Service team (Workshop and Field Service Technicians, Administration and Service Partners)
• Maintaining and develop long standing relationships with new and existing customers.
• Continuous improvement
• Maintain implemented safety standards and ongoing safety culture.
• Pursue new and existing service sales opportunities.
• Manage financial responsibilities for the Service department (Set and achieve)
• Coach and develop Service Team

About You

• Technical knowledge of Earthmoving Equipment
• Capable in creating partnership and forging strong relationships.
• Previous management or team leadership experience
• Ability to manage departmental P&L’s, quotes, WIP & invoicing; and to identify areas for improvement or additional business opportunity.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail across all areas.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
