Hydraulic cylinder 260 bar series-production range
Can be adapted for mobile and stationary applications

The production range at a glance

The hydraulic cylinder 260 bar series-production range from Liebherr offers cost-effective cylinder solutions for demanding operating conditions. The hydraulic cylinders can be configured with different types of mounting, oil connections and piston rod coatings. It thus provides the necessary flexibility for applications in which no extensive additional requirements, e.g. for sensors, are placed on the cylinder.

Wide variety of variants
The series-production range offers 28 basic piston-piston rod rated diameter combination variants.
Applications
The hydraulic cylinders of the 260 bar series-production range can be used in both mobile and stationary applications.

For use anywhere

The hydraulic cylinders of the 260 bar series-production range are very robust against static and dynamic loads. This makes the cylinders suitable for a wide range of mobile and stationary applications. Construction machines are also among the target applications, such as mobile work platforms, presses and various other industrial machines.

The hydraulic cylinder series-production range can be used in telescopic loaders and crawler tractors. See for yourself.

Technical designs to fit your needs

The hydraulic cylinders are calculated and built according to current state-of-the-art procedures. For example, the finite element method supports the design of the builds. Supportive pulse and endurance tests are also carried out to check the calculations.Four types of attachment and two alternative oil connections are available for each piston rod and piston combination. Depending on the environmental conditions, single-chrome or double-chrome coating is used for the piston rod. Functional extensions such as sensor or cushioning solutions were deliberately avoided during the design in order to be able to realize the most economical solution for the respective target application.
Coating

The standard coating is a high-quality single chromium layer with a thickness of 25 μm (± 5 μm). For higher corrosion or impact protection requirements, a hardened piston rod with double chrome coating is available. This coating ensures a minimum of 96 hours in the acetic acid salt spray test (AASS) according to DIN EN ISO 9227 rating 10.
