- Provide expert technical support for Liebherr Australia’s mining aftermarket mining components for non-Liebherr machines, particularly wheel drives, drive systems, hydraulic cylinders and slewing bearings, helping customers maximize equipment performance and reliability.
- Support of the factories and the MIN Reman workshop with local technical and commercial expertise for wheel drives, drive systems, hydraulic cylinders and slewing bearings fitted to non-Liebherr mining equipment and Liebherr mining equipment.
- Work closely with the sales team, directly customers, service teams, and global engineering stakeholders to deliver practical technical and commercial (reman) solutions and product improvements.
- Act as a trusted technical and reman advisor, confidently engaging with customers and promoting Liebherr Components products, services, and capabilities.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in mining equipment remanufacturing, component rebuilding, or aftermarket support would be highly advantageous.
- Strong technical and commercial experience with mining components, particularly wheel drives, gear technology, powertrain systems, hydraulic cylinders or similar heavy equipment components.
- Proven experience in an OEM, mining, remanufacturing, or heavy equipment environment, with exposure to component support, maintenance, or product development.
- Experience supporting mobile mining equipment. Candidates with relevant fixed plant component expertise will also be considered.
- Commercial and process experience of creating and implementing remanufacturing programs for wheel drives, travel drives and hydraulic cylinders for OEM and or 3rd party mining mobile equipment.
- Proven capability in building-up and implementing technical and commercial remanufacturing programs and business models.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility and discuss technical and commercial solutions confidently with customers and internal teams.
