About the Role:
In this key position based at our Para Hills West site, you will work with operational areas by onboarding and developing suppliers nationally. You will assist in root cause analysis, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with ISO standards. Your contributions will directly support the efficiency and excellence of our Mining operations.
Skills and Duties:
With a start in the new year, you will be required to:
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments whilst providing constructive feedback to employees, Supervisors and Managers
- Manage non-conformance processes, perform root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans, ensuring alignment with global standards
- Work with stakeholders to develop processes and documentation to reduce risk, process variance, inefficiencies and drive improvement initiatives
- Develop and deliver quality assurance education programs, provide training and guidance on quality procedures and systems as needed
- Monitor and report on aspects of the implementation and compliance to the Division’s QA system.

Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Lead Auditor Certification, Mechanical Engineering experience preferred or relevant experience in supplier quality management
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards, compliance requirements and change management experience
- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical documentation along with proficiency in quality control, auditing, and root cause analysis
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, paired with a proactive, collaborative approach and dedication to continuous improvement
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
