Common rail injector
Highlights
Liebherr engineers used solid materials and a flat-seat control valve in the design of the LI2 common rail injector. The resulting injector is particularly robust against aggressive fuels and thus ideally suited for demanding use in off-highway applications. The permanently leak-free injector is tuned to minimal control leakage and is thus very efficient despite low fuel consumption. Two different nozzle diameters (7 and 9 mm) and different housing sizes are available for the LI2 injector. The function-related micro-precision parts are produced in-house and so the injector is custom-adapted to the needs of each customer and application.
