Flexible adjustments to hook heights and jib lengths, along with optimised external dimensions, mean they can even be used where space is very limited.

The jibs in the K series offer a range of lengths, giving you the flexibility you need for construction sites of all sizes. Lifting capacity curves are adapted to the jib lengths, making the cranes very versatile construction machines.

The Load-Plus function allows K series cranes to significantly increase their lifting capacity so that even extra heavy loads can be moved safely without effort. This extra hook power is a real advantage for challenging tasks as the lifting capacity is increased without compromising efficiency. Load-Plus delivers powerful, yet controlled lifting of heavy loads and offers extra flexibility and strength, which is invaluable when every kilogram counts on site.

Micromove

Micromove takes precision control to a whole new level and ensures loads are positioned with millimetre accuracy. Where complex lifting operations and sensitive components are involved, Micromove ensures maximum precision by giving the operator effortless control over the finest of adjustments. Loads can be moved without jolting, which not only increases quality but also improves safety on site. Micromove makes challenging tasks easier and is an indispensable tool for precision tasks.

Speed2Lift

Speed2Lift increases lifting speed and optimises workflow through the quicker movement of loads. This function makes lifting and lowering loads noticeably faster, which speeds up the entire construction site process. Work cycles are shortened and time and resources saved. Speed2Lift offers particular advantages for intensive projects, as work processes are faster and more efficient, which in turn maximises productivity on site.

Slewing gear modes

The K series offers three different slewing gear modes to match your specific requirements. Depending on the project at hand, you can choose modes designed for high-precision movement processes and fast slewing speeds. This gives you the flexibility to optimise your crane for each specific job and environment. The relevant mode can be selected directly via radio control. Start with a high slewing speed and deliver the load to its destination with precision.

Innovative control system with intuitive operation

The new Tower Crane Operating System 2 (TC OS 2) control system features a standardised radio control for all new bottom-slewing cranes. Features such as clear text and a user-friendly layout support the new display. Menu navigation is standardised and intuitive with self-explanatory symbols and icons. The assembly engineer is actively supported by a wizard, which guides them through crane configuration and scaling. Crane functions such as Load-Plus and Micromove can be activated individually, and software enables lifting capacity to be reduced.

These patented innovations independently carry out semi-automated, simultaneous movements and significantly simplify work for the crane operator. The assistance systems Sway Control (Plus), Vertical Line Finder, Guided Hook & Positioning Pilot are available for the latest models in the K series.

Radio control

The radio control enables flexible and precise operation of the K series wherever you are positioned. This technology offers full control and allows safe, location-independent operation for maximum flexibility. The radio control’s user interface has a clear and intuitive design for easy use. Clearly structured elements allow the crane to be controlled with ease – ideal for efficient processes.

Easy transport & assembly

Versatile transport options

Thanks to their flexible transport concept, K cranes are ready to go in very little time, no matter how confined or extensive the construction site is. Axle options for 25 km/h and 80 km/h make sure that all requirements can be met. The 25 km/h axle is ideal for short distances and challenging terrain, while the 80 km/h axle makes transport over longer distances easier and reduces logistical effort.

Smooth assembly

Simple setup kinematics and rope support make our cranes ideal for mastering the challenges of modern construction sites. Even where space is limited, aerial assembly makes it possible to overcome obstacles of up to 25 metres. Thanks to their clever design, the required assembly area is kept to a minimum, and even extreme weather conditions such as low temperatures don’t impact assembly.
