First LPS 600 in Germany boosts logistics for J. MÜLLER

J. MÜLLER Weser GmbH unveils Germany’s first LPS 600 at the port of Brake, designed to enhance cargo handling with its 61-metre boom and e-drive. This portal crane features a 650-metre travel path in one direction, an oversized cable drum, and a curved chassis with pivot points for navigating winding roads, ensuring unparalleled mobility. Special seals on the wheels provide flood protection, and video monitoring enhances operational safety. On October 21, a commissioning ceremony with VIPs marked this significant addition to the port’s infrastructure. As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to the continued growth and success of the port of Brake.

Production of LS 800 E for Project ORCA officially completed

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the production process for the LS 800 E cranes for the ORCA vessel of SAL Heavy Lift. All ten fully electric heavy-lift ship cranes have finished production, with almost all units already shipped to their destinations. Our fully assembled prototype, which has been rigorously tested on-site at our test bed, is scheduled to leave Rostock this month. This milestone marks a significant achievement for everyone involved in the project. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all departments here at MCR and to our customer, SAL Heavy Lift, for their outstanding collaboration and teamwork on this special project. The passion and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this project together. In this way, we have set a new standard in heavy-lift ship crane production, and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership in the future.
