Liebherr-IT Services GmbH
Liebherr-IT Services GmbH was founded to meet growing demand for IT solutions. It is a central IT service provider of the Liebherr Group based at Oberopfingen (Germany). Liebherr-IT Services GmbH develops organisational and software IT solutions for the entire Group. In this context, it is also responsible for coordinating cross-location IT applications.

Liebherr-IT Services GmbH is the heart of the IT infrastructure of the Liebherr Group. From its head office in Oberopfingen, IT solutions are provided and administered for the globally operating Group.
History
The history of Liebherr-IT Services GmbH began under the umbrella of the Liebherr factory at Ehingen. The transfer to Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH was completed in 1987. A central IT operation was created with the objective of software harmonisation within the Group. In 2002, this central IT operation was merged with Central Purchasing to form Liebherr-Logistik GmbH in Kirchdorf. In 2008, Liebherr-Logistik GmbH was split into the Liebherr companies that exist today, Liebherr-IT Services GmbH and Liebherr-Purchasing GmbH. This was the hour of birth of the Liebherr-IT Services GmbH as we know it today.
Because of the ever-increasing project intensity and the expected growth of the company, it was decided to open a new location, and building work on the new office facilities started in 2013. In March 2015, Liebherr-IT Services moved into the newly developed site in Oberopfingen.
