Hübner bus articulation dampers

Liebherr has been supplying hydraulic articulation dampers for Hübner articulated buses for already 20 years. These dampers ensure that the buses transport their passengers safely and comfortably through the city.

Technology

In modern articulated buses, the drive is located in the "trailer" in order to optimize the space in the bus for the passengers without barriers. The front part of the bus is therefore pushed from the trailer. To keep the vehicle absolutely safe and comfortable on the road in every driving situation, two semi-active dampers from Liebherr are used in the bus articulation. Should the control of the dampers fail, a passive emergency damping system continues to ensure safe bus operation.
