As soon as a component becomes old or defective, the question always arises: What now? Remanufacture or exchange?
We are a competent service partner and as such we are always at your side to help with your decision-making. The fast completion of standard or bespoke solutions are part of our everyday work, which is covered by a wide-ranging portfolio.
Our Reman programme comprises three different remanufacturing levels. However, they all have one thing in common – the components are given a second chance for a new life.
Possible refurbishments
Exchange components
- the fastest option -
The components are replaced by a remanufactured, anonymous component with the same warranty as a new part. Their service life and performance are identical to those of a new part. In addition, Liebherr pays an attractive part-exchange fee if you return an old part which can be repaired.
General overhaul
- the lowest cost option -
The components are remanufactured to return them to as-new condition and brought up to the latest technical standard where possible. The entire component is covered by the same warranty as a new part. By planning ahead, downtimes can be avoided.
Repair
- the damage-dependent option -
After dismantling and inspection, an individual quotation is prepared for repairing the component. The warranty covers the repair work or the entire component depending on the extent of the repairs and the component.

We take every part of a crane and not only bring the large components back to life but prepare the small components as well for continued use. Below is a selection of the components that can be remanufactured:
Diesel engines
We offer diesel engines overhauled, repaired or as exchange parts.
Winches
We can supply rope winches with all three remanufacturing levels in our Reman & Repair programme.
Support cylinders
The support cylinders for mobile and crawler cranes are available as exchange or repaired parts.
Luffing cylinders
Luffing cylinders can be supplied as exchange or repaired parts.
LICCON displays
We can exchange your defective LICCON display.
BTT remote controls
The remote controls for mobile and crawler cranes are replaced in full.
