An exciting, full time, permanent position within the marketing department has now become available. The marketing executive will play a key role in the marketing of Liebherr’s products and services, with a particular responsibility for customer service marketing. The successful candidate will report directly to the Marketing Manager or his/her delegate.
This varied role will require a self-starter with a wide-ranging skillset, who is quick to learn and can prioritise many simultaneous tasks and deadlines. A key feature of the role will be the ability to manage projects from concept through to delivery with minimum supervision. The ability to create clear, concise, and on-message marketing communications is a prerequisite, as is fluency in English. Mastery of Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Experience of photo and video editing along with the basics of graphic design would be beneficial. You will need to be a people person, as daily interactions with stakeholders and service users, providing and requesting information is a core feature of the job. An eye for design would be a distinct advantage, as would an understanding of file and document preparation for print and multimedia.
Key Elements of the role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparing of press releases and technical articles for magazines / newsletters.
- Overseeing the implementation of the Liebherr corporate/brand identity.
- Preparation and updating of presentations.
- Incorporating the sustainability message in all marketing communications.
- Driving our social media content to be the best it can be. Working with our sister companies on the management of same.
- Production of movies/reels in-house and with external suppliers.
- Communication with external stakeholders including, printers, graphic designers, videographers, photographers, local and trade press, social media managers, colleagues in other Liebherr companies.
- Production/updating of marketing material for print/digital.
- Offer marketing support to internal and external Liebherr colleagues and departments.
- Carry out market research on a wide variety of topics, distil and prepare summaries of findings.
- Conference/event organisation
Qualifications & Competencies
- Proven experience in prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A third level qualification in a related discipline is preferred.
- 3 years+ demonstrable experience in similar role.
- Highly organised with excellent planning abilities.
- Self-motivated with a good aptitude for technical concepts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A willingness to learn / develop further relevant skills as they arise.
