Liebherr Components presents technological innovations for agriculture and forestry at Agritechnica 2017

At this year's Agritechnica in Hannover, Liebherr demonstrates its state-of-the-art technology for agriculture and forestry from 12. to 18. November 2017. Innovations from the areas of combustion engines, hydraulic drive technology as well as telematics and sensor technology await the exhibition visitors.

At the exhibition, Liebherr premieres the new 4-cylinder in-line diesel D964 engine with a displacement of 9 litres and a maximum power output of 300 kW. It is the third new engine model that Liebherr has presented this year. With its heavy-duty equipment, it is ideally suited for use in off-highway applications with frequent load and engine speed variations. It is part of the new generation of engines from Liebherr to comply with the EU Stage V emission standards, and will be available from 2019. Like the D956 and D966 six-cylinder engines presented early this year, the D964 belongs to a new generation of engines, which not only fulfils the demanding EU Stage V exhaust emission standards, but on account of the modular exhaust gas aftertreatment system can also be used in less strictly regulated markets.

Further highlights include the new telematics units by Liebherr. The powerful hardware enables far more application possibilities compared to conventional telematics products. They allow not only future-proof connection of mobile machinery, but also secure data communication with reliable protection from manipulation and unauthorised access. The Mobile Communication Gateways are also suitable for safety-relevant applications according to ISO 25119.

Moreover, with the extension of the product portfolio in the medium pressure range, the exhibition team of Liebherr Components presents three different innovations in the field of hydraulics. The LH30 medium pressure pump family is extended by two additional sizes – with a displacement of 28 cm3 and 85 cm3. The two new sizes are aimed at customers in the mobile machinery business. Furthermore, Liebherr introduces an extended controller programme, whereby controllers can be integrated alone or in combination with each other. One further innovation to be featured in the hydraulics area is a universal drive-through option for the LH30 product family. This will allow customers to acquire standalone units and extend them further by ones in different sizes according to their needs.

Within the framework of the round-table "Systems and Components" Liebherr informs about the intelligent position transducer LiView, which is also presented at the exhibition stand. Liebherr also gives an overview of the current service portfolio in the field of smart and predictive maintenance for mobile machinery to the professional public. We heartily invite you to participate in the panel discussions on Monday 13 from 10 to 10.45 am as well as 3 to 3.45 pm accordingly.
