Liebherr and Fortescue’s pioneering partnership for zero emission mining equipment
The industry-leading partnership between Liebherr and Fortescue will result in cutting-edge zero emission solutions for mining equipment as well as the supply of 475 Liebherr machines – integrated with Fortescue’s innovative green technology – to Fortescue’s operations in Australia. Liebherr and Fortescue are committed to having a comprehensive and large-scale zero emission mining ecosystem operational by 2030. The deal – including all of the equipment and technological advancements – amounts to the single largest deal made in the Liebherr Group’s 75-year history.
