Liebherr and DCT Gdansk

Over a Decade of Partnership

DCT Gdansk took delivery of its first Liebherr STS cranes in 2007. The quality, competitiveness and reliability of the Liebherr cranes laid the foundation for a longstanding history of Liebherr winning all DCT Gdansk open tenders for STS cranes.

State-of-the-art equipment, high reliability, availability and productivity has been a cornerstone of the service offered by DCT Gdansk and has resulted in rapid growth and expansion. Today, DCT Gdansk is the leading Baltic port and drives trade in the Baltic region and beyond.

This commitment to excellence continues with the arrival of three further megamax Liebherr STS cranes due for handover in the coming months.

High-End-Technology

LRS 545 - Features and Benefits

The Liebherr reachstacker LRS 545 is the most innovative one on the reachstacker market. The decisive factor above all is the unique drive concept of the Liebherr reachstackers, the hydrostatic drive.

Advantages of the hydrostatic drive:

  • Stepless and gearless drive characteristics
  • Small turning radii for comfortable handling
  • Less wear parts - no differential & no torque converter
  • Maintenance free hydrostatic brake system
