The Components division of the Liebherr Group presents itself also this year at the 11. International MTZ Conference “Heavy-Duty-, On- and Off-Highway Engines”. The focus thereby lies on the common rail fuel injection system 11.5 for engines of up to six litres capacity per cylinder. The system is designed for harshiest environmental conditions and is, therefore, ideal for application in large engines used in mining equipment, gensets, locomotives and maritime technology. With precise multiple injection at pressures of up to 2,200 bar, constant performance and low emission values are guaranteed throughout the engine's service life.
The Liebherr exhibition team also presents the new engine control unit ECU3 to the trade visitors at the Components' booth 21 on the upper floor. The ECU3 is an all-in-one system containing all control functions, not only for the engine and the common rail system but also for exhaust gas after treatment.
As a keynote to the event, Mr. Rudolf Ellensohn, Managing Director Technics and Sales Combustion Engines Liebherr Machines Bulle SA, will give an insight into the future of combustion engines in industrial applications in 20-years' time.
