Technical Advisor - EarthmovingSunderland

Your responsibilities as a Technical Advisor:

•    Provides technical support on the range of Liebherr Earthmoving machines assisting in diagnosing and resolving machine or application faults.
•    Supports all Liebherr UK depots, including traveling to customer sites and Liebherr UK depots as required.
•    Carry out investigations into technical faults; communicating with factories to provide a technical solution.
•    Prepare and submit reports documenting technical issue, diagnostics and fault resolution.
•    Obtain suitable solutions from Liebherr factories on technical issues and warranty claims to ensure maximum recovery and customer satisfaction.
•    Maintain good communication and effective relationships with factories, suppliers, internal departments and customers.
•    Produce internal Liebherr-Great Britain Technical Information as and when required.
•    Proofread factory Service Information and circulate to After Sales depots.
•    Attend factory training courses as required.
•    Pro-actively contributes to departmental meetings, looking at ways to enhance the efficiency of administrative functions, system processes and procedures.
•    Be able to support the technical department at Biggleswade head office when required.
•    Working safely and in accordance with the company’s Quality and Environmental policies.

Your Profile as a Technical Advisor:

•    Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
•    Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and / or industry.
•    With experience in the construction plant or transport distribution industry is able to identify skills applied in either, parts, warranty or service departments.
•    Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively with customers in a pressurised environment.
