Articulation dampers
Liebherr has developed an electronically controlled damping system with semi-active dampers for use in modern articulated buses. This system dampens the outward movement of the vehicle joint. Despite the very limited installation space, the dampers offer a high damping force, which is infinitely adjustable.
An integrated sensor system monitors continuously the specified damper settings. The system is designed to ensure minimum damping even if the electronics fail. Two-stage damping systems are also available for cost-optimized applications. The Liebherr system is now used in series by almost all well-known manufacturers of articulated buses.

If repairs are required, both the trailer and the cooling unit can be taken to the same workshop.
