Liftinghero Robert: Crane operator and model maker with passion
Quote by Robert: "It is simply a great feeling to operate a crane and I can't image something better".
Robert Oehl is 46 years old, comes from Upper Franconia and has breathed crane air for 25 years – the crane operator licence for tower cranes directly after his apprenticeship as mechanic aroused his passion.
It is "simply a great feeling to operate a crane and I can't image something better," Robert enthuses today about his daily work. Currently he is working for the medium-sized RAAB construction company where he operates Liebherr fast-erecting cranes of different size categories - at the moment a true Liebherr original: the 71 K. For Robert, each lifting movement is something special and "simply somehow different" – not only lifting a load from A to B. He never gets bored and really appreciates to work in the fresh air.
Robert has built the large cranes to scale 1:87 as models. Here you can see a 2000 HC 60
His big dream is to operate one of the large Liebherr 1000 EC-H or 2000 HC tower cranes. "Always keep cool!" – this is Robert's motto that is certainly a good intention when climbing up the 1000 EC-H. His fascination for large cranes is also reflected after finishing work: Robert has built the large cranes to scale 1:87 as models. But that's not all: His living room is decorated with a proud collection of different crane models, which he also likes to photograph sometimes.
A true Liftinghero through and through for whom the crane is more than a working equipment!
By the way: We are just building large 2000 HC cranes, which will be delivered soon.
