Anti-sway system
At maximum handling speed, the anti-sway system calculates in advance all load movements and influences from the wind. It initiates compensation movements automatically on this basis. This prevents the load from swinging.
Advantages arising from the sway-free load are: greater material handling, precise control over the load movement and more safety in the harbour. The system has been tested around the world and offers full functionality in all environmental conditions. Depending on the application, inhouse-developed enhancements are available.
Teach-in simplifies bulk goods handling
The anti-sway system teach-in enhancement facilitates easier bulk goods handling. The operator determines the loading and unloading point and then navigates the crane at maximum speed to a defined area. As soon as the crane reaches one of these two points, it brakes automatically without causing the load to swing. Timely positioning of the grabber is therefore unnecessary.
Advantages at a glance
The head of the jib and the grabber and also the load always move in a predefined range between the two points. This avoids operating errors and increases safety. Moreover, operator can always intervene in the crane movements.
The anti-sway system teach-in enhancement accelerates and simplifies bulk goods handling through predefined loading and unloading points.
Automatic positioning of the grabber saves the crane operator time. Furthermore, he can also navigate at maximum speed between the predefined loading and unloading points. This increases the handling performance.

Soft Touch Down increases the handling rate
The Soft Touch Down supplement was especially developed for container handling. When the container is lowered, the crane operator often brakes the movement earlier than necessary. In this way, valuable time is lost.
Soft Touch Down automatically detects how much space there is between the container and its landing place and optimises the braking distance. The crane operator is therefore able to lower at maximum speed for as long as possible until the system automatically initiates the braking process. In this way, more containers per hour can be moved and harbour operation can be made safer.
Advantages at a glance
Intervention of the system prevents the load from being placed down on the ground with a heavy impact. This means that potential damage to the crane, ship or harbour infrastructure related to this incident can be avoided.
Thanks to automatic regulation of the speed, the operator can utilise the crane's full capacity without restriction. In this way, more containers per hour can be moved particularly by crane operators with less experience.

Avoiding inclined lifting increases the crane's service life.
Vertical Line Finder extends service life
In heavy duty material handling, the Cycoptronic Vertical Line Finder enhancement literally lightens the load. Owing to the partially large distance between the crane operator and load or asymmetric balance points, inclined lifting can affect the crane significantly.
The Vertical Line Finder supports the driver in avoiding inclined lifting and ensures that the load is perfectly vertical. This also prevents the load from swinging and provides greater safety. As a result, the system prolongs the service life of the crane.
Advantages at a glance
The perfectly vertical lift prevents uncontrolled swinging of the load and thereby increases safety in the harbour area.
The perfectly vertical load distribution calculated by the system prevents structurally-damaging crane loads and thereby prolongs the service life of the crane.
