LR 1700-1.0W

Crawler crane

LR 1700-1.0W - Big impact on narrow track.

Our LR 1700-1.0W offers more power and a greater lifting height than its predecessor, the LR 1600/2-W. This gives it the best prerequisites for the efficient assembly of modern wind turbines on wind farms. To meet the challenging demands for driving and steering, Liebherr has equipped the crane's new narrow track travel gear with components from its next larger crane class. In a nutshell: a narrow footprint with high load capacities; this is the concept behind the LR 1700-1.0W. The new 700-ton crane is thus the benchmark for narrow track cranes worldwide. The superstructure and equipment are identical to those of the successful LR 1700-1.0.

    What's inside

    Powerful:

A stronger basic machine and wide H-lattice type sections in the lower section of the main boom enable the successor to the LR 1600/2-W to achieve significantly higher lifting capacities.

    Reaches into the sky:

Modern, taller wind turbines are not a serious challenge thanks to its high superstructure and the boom systems of the LR 1700-1.0 standard crane.

    State-of-the-art crawler crane technology:

The LR 1700-1.0W features the newest innovations such as the V-frame® system and the VarioTray® detachable ballast system.

    Power chassis:

Longer distances and inclines are no problem for this narrow track crawler crane thanks to its powerful drive train that includes components from crawler cranes of higher load classes – and ensures minimal wear.

    Top-notch equipment:

Our modern lattice type fixed jib is also available for this narrow gauge crane. This is designed for single and parallel operation and has an integrated whip line.
