Calgary has a clear goal: to reduce greenhouse gases. Part of the climate strategy is the use of emission-free technological innovations. With the first battery-powered unplugged model on Canadian soil, this strategy is also being consistently pursued in construction projects. During the construction of a new pedestrian overpass, contractor Graham and deep foundation subcontractor Ki International Ltd. put the LB 30 unplugged drilling rig purposely to the test with difficult drilling work and temperatures as low as minus 36 degrees.

New carrier machine for slurry wall construction LBX 600

Liebherr launches a new carrier machine for slurry wall construction on the market. The compact size of the LBX 600 fulfils the requirements of jobsites in urban areas in particular. The electrically driven unplugged version also impresses with the advantages of zero emission. The LBX 600 can be fitted with mechanical or hydraulic grabs. The modular boom system allows for three different versions of the machine and a high degree of flexibility.

Intermat 2024: Liebherr displays exhibits with alternative drives plus a wide range of digital solutions

From 24 to 27 April 2024 in area Ext 6 C 051 of the Intermat trade show, Liebherr is presenting around 20 machines from the product segments of tower cranes, mobile and crawler cranes, components, earthmoving machinery, material handling technology, deep foundation machines and concrete technology.
