    The D9812 ICE is built to withstand the tough conditions of the mining industry. By reducing the rated speed to 1,500 rpm, the D9812 ICE puts less stress on components, increasing the engine’s lifetime and improving its fuel consumption.

    Liebherr's proprietary engine and hydraulic management systems – Liebherr Power Efficiency (LPE) – come as standard with the R 9600. With the LPE systems, the excavator will only use the power and the hydraulic flow required for the task at hand, drastically reducing fuel consumption.
