EcoVadis Gold – another step forward
We use EcoVadis to quantify our progress in the areas of corporate responsibility and sustainability. Our commitment to a holistic corporate strategy has now been rewarded: The EcoVadis gold medal and our position in the top 3 % of all the award-winning companies makes it clear that we are facing up to ecological, social and ethical challenges.

With a total score of 75 points, our production sites are among the top 3 percent of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis worldwide.

Consistent progress to a second Gold
2019-2022
The Austrian Liebherr plant, Liebherr-Hausgeräte Lienz GmbH, has been awarded the EcoVadis silver certificate twice.
2022
Building on the Silver evaluation for Lienz in 2021, Liebherr Hausgeräte received Gold for all production sites worldwide from EcoVadis for its social and ecological engagement in 2022.
2023
With its EcoVadis gold medal renewed for 2023, this strong result has now been confirmed and the overall rating yet again improved, from 73 to 75 points.

About EcoVadis
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of sustainability rankings for companies. In a comprehensive process, EcoVadis evaluates commitment in the areas of environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and sustainable procurement. The evaluations also take into account factors such as the sector, size and location of the companies. Over 100,000 companies are currently inspected by EcoVadis. These evaluations are based on international corporate responsibility standards – for example, the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and DIN ISO 26000 “Guidance on social responsibility”.
