Five facts about the Liebherr exhibition booth at Bauma 2025
Under the motto ‘Hands on the future,’ Liebherr will showcase solutions for the construction site of the future at Bauma 2025. On its 14,000 m² exhibition booth, visitors can explore over 70 exhibits and a wide range of customised solution concepts. Here are five exciting facts about this exceptional exhibit.

Our Bauma presence features four booths in total with over 14,000 m². Our outdoor area can be found in booths 809-810 and 812-813.
1. One of the largest exhibition booths at Bauma 2025
The Liebherr exhibition booth at Bauma is among the largest temporary exhibition booths in the world. While permanent exhibition halls are used for years, this booth is built entirely from scratch through an elaborate construction process—only to be completely dismantled after the event.
The outdoor exhibition area alone covers more than 14,000 square metres, equivalent to over two football fields. A project of this scale requires meticulous planning and extensive logistical coordination. In total, 200 truckloads of materials were delivered, and 1,200 tonnes of steel were used in the construction. To power the booth, 75 kilometres of cable were laid—enough to circle Munich’s Altstadtring 14 times. The entire setup took six months to complete, with numerous experts working to create the perfect showcase for Liebherr’s latest innovations.

More than 70 exhibits will be featured on our outdoor area, focusing on our latest innovations from the construction machinery.
2. An impressive display of machinery
Liebherr is showcasing a diverse range of innovations and machinery from various product segments at Bauma. As the world’s largest construction equipment exhibition and a hub for technology enthusiasts and industry professionals, the event will feature more than 70 exhibits from the product segments earthmoving, material handling, mining, mobile and crawler cranes, tower cranes, deep foundation equipment, concrete technology, and components. Among the highlights are several world premieres.

3. The Liebherr team in action
During the exhibition week, up to 2,000 Liebherr employees from nearly 50 countries are actively involved. Many of them arrive weeks before the event, traveling alongside the exhibits to set them up and ensure they are showcased in perfect condition. However, it’s not just the machinery that takes center stage—every detail of the live presentations is carefully planned and rehearsed to deliver a seamless and engaging experience for visitors.

5. Step into the future with Liebherr at the InnovationLab
As a reliable partner, Liebherr is shaping the technologies of tomorrow and pursuing sustainable visions together with its customers. But how will construction machines of the future be powered? How will machines perceive their surroundings? And what role do digital solutions play in improving safety and reducing emissions? Answers to these questions can be found at the InnovationLab at the Liebherr exhibition booth. Here, visitors can experience groundbreaking technologies that could soon revolutionise everyday construction work. These are not science fiction concepts, but practical applications demonstrating how Liebherr is actively addressing the challenges of the future. The InnovationLab focuses on four key areas: advanced machine operation, digitalisation, alternative drive technologies and material technologies. Visitors can try out interactive applications for themselves or experience firsthand, through live demonstrations by the Liebherr team, how innovation and practical implementation come together.
