At Bauma 2019 Liebherr will present numerous innovations and product innovations for its earthmoving range. In the range „Innovation. Share&Explore“ and at daily shows visitors will be able to experience at the stand clearly the effects of future-focused technologies to the range.
The earthmoving range will show Customer Service innovations at Bauma stand in the area „Service. Parts&Solutions“. Furthermore, Liebherr will present with INTUSI the winner of the Bauma innovation price 2019 in the category Design. The expert in the field can look forward to many product innovations at the Liebherr stand: the new crawler excavator Generation 8, the first representative of the new crawler tractor Generation 8 or also the new mobile excavator A 913 Compact. For selected wheel loaders of the company group an extensive offer of intelligent assistance systems as well as a new joystick steering is available.
Imminent future focused technologies
Themed with the slogan „Together. Now &Tomorrow“ Liebherr will be presenting in the area „Innovation. Share&Explore“ as well as at daily shows live information about future-focused technologies. The earthmoving range will be putting forward innovative approaches and concrete solutions, this will include how Liebherr can work with its customers to shape the divisions future. At the stand the company‘s representatives are looking forward to discussing ideas and exchanging experiences with visitors.
Individual service features
With its extensive service network Liebherr offers as a reliable partner service features, which are tailored to the needs of its customers. At the main stand Liebherr will present in the area „Service. Parts&Solutions“ amongst others innovations in the area of the Reman program, which stands for economic efficiency and conservation of resources.
With MyLiebherr the company will show the entry to the digital service world of Liebherr. The online platform offers the access to service and additional activities in the area of earthmoving machines, mining machines, mobile and crawler cranes, material handlers and maritime cranes. Cost controlling, calculability and security are nowadays further demands, for which newly designed CarePacks are offered.
Disruptive machine communication with INTUSI
At Bauma Liebherr will unveil the innovative, adaptive concept INTUSI to the public for the first time, which will revolutionize the communication with and between construction machines. INTUSI connects Liebherr construction machinery and material handlers to the Internet of Things (IoT) and is combining an intelligent operating logic with a smart machine intelligence.
For this purpose Liebherr has created a completely new, modern control environment. INTUSI stands for INTuitive USer Interface. The objective during the development was to provide machine operators with a future-focused machine interface with Liebherr’s characteristic transparency and clear overall logic. Going forward the concept will be used in all Liebherr earthmoving and material handlers.
New crawler excavator generation
At the beginning of the year Liebherr-France SAS in Colmar (France) started the production of the latest generation of earthmoving crawler excavators: generation 8. The first phase comprises seven new models of between 22 and 45 tonnes. The new Generation-8 crawler excavators stand out thanks to higher performance, higher productivity, greater security and more convenience for the operator. At the Bauma main stand Liebherr will present four
World premiere of the new Generation 8 crawler tractors
With the PR 736 G8 Liebherr starts at Bauma 2019 the Generation 8 crawler tractors. With numerous innovations for more operators comfort, excellent grading qualities and the new standard grading systems the PR 736 G8 impresses as universal machine for road construction as well as for mining.
For ergonomic and productive work the cabin of the new PR 736 G8 offers many innovations. So, for example for the first time the operating concept of a joystick integrated in the handle for the rear ripper in the class of 25 tonnes will be used. With the complete separation of the cabin from the basic machine and the sound-optimized drive train, vibrations were reduced and the noise spectrum with regard to critical frequencies was again improved.
The big 9‘‘display is the new control center for all relevant operating data. The operator controls by this means also the new assistance systems (Liebherr OAS – Operator Assistance Systems), which offer three levels of operator’s support: “Free Grade“ for active blade stabilization at fine grading, “Definition Grade“ for automatic positioning of the blade at producing 2D surfaces, “3D Grade“ as optional GPS machine control for modelling complicated terrain shapes. The new 6 way blade with higher capacity (until 4, 84 m³) increases the productivity and simplifies thanks to optimized linkage geometry the modelling of a fine grading.
Prototype of the Liebherr mobile excavator A 913 Compact Litronic
Liebherr will present at Bauma 2019 for the first time the prototype of the new mobile excavator A 913 Compact Litronic, with stage V emission standards compliance. This compact wheeled excavator is an all-rounder for classic earthmoving work on construction sites where space is tight. It has an operating weight of between 13.800 kg and 15.500 kg and thanks to the flexible undercarriage with all wheel steering and crab mode the machine particularly impresses with its combination of exceptional maneuverability and high lift capacities. Thanks to a small tail swing of just 1, 7 m the machine can be used flexibly for different types of excavation work. Liebherr has also designed the machine without a pivot bearing for the adjustable boom and has secured it closer to the center of the upper carriage. This results in reduced front swing radius which enables flexible use of the machine.
Assistance systems and new Joystick steering for wheel loaders
Liebherr will present to the audience of construction industry specialists for the first time a comprehensive package of multiple intelligent assistance systems for selected wheel loaders of the group. These systems include the new active rear person recognition, a monitoring system for the front line and the camera system Skyview 360°. With these systems Liebherr offers solutions for increasing safety and discharging the operator, who bears a great responsibility in day-to-day wheel loader operation. A further assistance system is the new weighing device. It is working as a check weigher over a large lifting range. All systems are developed by Liebherr and completely integrated in the machine control. This equally applies for the new Joystick steering for models L 526 to L 586 XPower®. Its intuitive interface enables the machine operator to control the machine precisely and fatigue-free, because the position of the joysticks corresponds always to the current articulation angle of the wheel loader.
From the smallest wheel loader, the L 506 Compact to the largest model L 586 XPower® Liebherr will be displaying a cross section of all wheel loader size classes at Bauma 2019. These include three power-split driven large wheel loaders of the XPower generation with different assistance systems: First a L 550 XPower®, which will present at daily shows at the Liebherr stand several new assistance systems, second a L 580 XPower®, which is equipped with assistance systems and a 13, 0 m³ high dump bucket for industrial operations, as well as third a L 586 XPower® of 32 tonnes with new joystick steering and operator’s cabin without steering wheel.
