Entry into Service: Liebherr-Aerospace on board the A350-1000

The A350-1000 measures nearly 74 meters from nose-to-tail and is the longest-fuselage version of Airbus’ A350 XWB program. The A350-1000 is longer with higher design weights than the A350-900. Both versions are fitted with a Liebherr-Aerospace nose landing gear. For development, the company incorporated the experience gained from the A350-900 program. The Liebherr-Aerospace team reinforced the design of the A350-1000 nose landing gear to meet the new requirements due to the weight difference.

Alongside the nose landing gear, Liebherr-Aerospace is developing, supplying and servicing further important components for the A350-1000: the slat actuation system, the flap active differential gearbox, plus the load sensing drive strut and the moving damper.

Liebherr is supporting Airbus and the airlines according to their individual requirements and offers worldwide customer service throughout the entire life cycle of the aircraft.
