Liebherr presents its latest mining technology at MINExpo 2024

At this year’s MINExpo, Liebherr is presenting advancements from its mining, earthmoving, mobile and crawler cranes, components and aerospace and transportation product segments. The company has made a number of product announcements during the exhibition, including the unveiling of its autonomous battery-electric T 264 haul truck, the new PR 776 Generation 8 dozer, and the expansion of its integrated technology portfolio, IoMine.

World premiere at MINExpo 2024: new Liebherr PR 776 Generation 8 crawler dozer

At MINExpo 2024, Liebherr presents its flagship mining dozer, the PR 776, in the 8th Generation in full spec for tough mining and quarry operations.

Innovative technologies: Liebherr at InnoTrans 2024

At the leading international trade fair for transport technology InnoTrans 2024, Liebherr will be presenting solutions from its product segments of transport technology and hydraulic excavators from September 24 to 27 in Berlin (Germany). The exhibits will be on display in the outdoor area, booth O/170. In addition to the products on display, Liebherr’s presentation will focus on sustainability and service.

“Just a bike trip away!”: an unusual journey to the Liebherr production sites in Europe

Loïc Flochlay, commercial manager at the Liebherr authorized dealer, SOMTP Bretagne and Alexandre Leroux, managing director of Liziard, a company based in the French Department of Finistère, realised an extraordinary idea last May. The two men travelled by bike from Quimper in the far west of Brittany across half of Europe to Vienna in eight days. They visited various Liebherr production sites on their 2,400 km trip. They christened their exciting project the Liebherr Europe Tour 2024.

Effective from July 15, 2024, Charles Malcolm assumes the role of Country Manager for Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling division in New Zealand. Power trio at HEIS: Liebherr earthmoving machines at work

The Liebherr R 992 crawler excavator: high performance and low emissions at CMSE

CMSE (Carrières & Matériaux Sud-Est) uses the R 992 crawler excavator to extract rocks at its quarry at Saint-Pons-de-Thomières (France). The company is the first customer in France to acquire a new-generation crawler excavator. This 94 tonne machine is specially equipped for extraction work. The improvements and technological innovations in the range guarantee performance and versatility on the ground.

Liebherr premiere: first large wheel loader with hydrogen engine and first hydrogen filling station in Salzburg

Liebherr pressing ahead with phasing out fossil fuels and preparing solutions to decarbonise construction sites, gravel plants etc. The Liebherr plant in Bischofshofen celebrated two groundbreaking events: the presentation of the first large wheel loader with a hydrogen engine and the opening of the first hydrogen filling station in the state of Salzburg.

Seven at one blow

The company Kurt Motz expands its fleet with seven new Liebherr machines. Six drilling rigs – one LB 25, two LB 30s, two LB 35s and one LB 45 – as well as one piling and drilling rig type LRB 23 will be delivered by the end of the year. Efficiency in the mining industry: Eti Maden opts for Liebherr Crawler Dozers

The Turkish mining company Eti Maden drives the global boron industry forward with innovative machinery and advanced technology. At its Kirka mine in western Turkey, the renowned organisation uses a Liebherr PR 766 Crawler Dozer specially designed for tough mining operations. Head of Kirka mine operations Yalçın Sakarya highlights how the machine's hydrostatic drive drastically reduces fuel consumption and lengthens the engine's service life. Robust design and efficient operation make the PR 766 the ideal machine for heavy-duty mining operations.

Liebherr at IFAT 2024 in Munich

Liebherr will be present at IFAT 2024, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which will take place in Munich from 13 to 17 May 2024, with a stand measuring around 280 m². In Hall C5, Stand 151/250, Liebherr will be exhibiting machines specially designed for use in waste management and recycling. The new LH 40 M Port Elektro electric material handling machine will be celebrating its trade fair premiere in Germany, as well as the new GMM 35-5 multi-tine grapple. With the L 507 E and the L 566 XPower, Liebherr will be showing two representatives from its wheel loader portfolio. The Liebherr T 60-9s, T 41-7s and T 33-10s telescopic handlers will also be part of the exhibition appearance. In the area of digitalisation, Liebherr will be showing the LiXplore® camera monitor system.

The World’s Biggest Beach Race: Boulard TP banks on Liebherr Crawler Dozers

Once again, this year France was home to the biggest motorcycle beach race in the world - Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais. The event has been drawing motorsport enthusiasts together, from all over the world, for over 30 years, and it stands out as a challenge of endurance under extreme conditions.
