Liebherr Telfs
Liebherr-Werk Telfs GmbH
At its manufacturing base in the Austrian state of Tyrol, Liebherr-Werk Telfs GmbH is continuously developing its range of highly cost-effective construction machinery: All backed and supported by the long established know-how of the Liebherr Group. The first Liebherr prototype of Crawler Dozers were presented in 1972, then produced in smaller numbers and tested in a wide variety of applications.
Liebherr-Werk Telfs GmbH was established in 1976 for series production of Liebherr Crawler Dozers. The first hydrostatic drive Crawler Loader from Telfs came quite soon after in 1978. The production program has been constantly expanded and now includes 7 Crawler Dozer models with engine outputs from 93 kW to 565 kW, two Crawler Loader models with bucket capacities from 1.5 m3 to 4.6 m3, various Telescopic Handler models with load capacities from 3.2 t to 6 t and lifting heights up to 10 m, as well as Pipe Layers for pipeline construction.
Our employees are the key to our success
We rely on highly motivated, competent employees who are enthusiastically committed to our company.
Virtual Prototyping: a core element in the development
At the Telfs site, Liebherr makes extensive use of advanced technology in developing new machines. This includes the creation of digital twins, which are based on precise simulation to take into account all physical parameters. Emphasis is given to critical factors for the driver: visibility, lighting and accessibility for maintenance.
User Experience for experienced users
At Telfs, our team of experienced drivers put Liebherr prototypes through their paces under real operating conditions, to provide critical feedback to R&D and give you top performance. Technical tests are also conducted for validation, safety and risk assessment, and include certified noise emission measurements.
Striving for perfection
The employees at the Liebherr Telfs site are not just well qualified, they are also dedicated to construction machinery that really works for you. We place a high value on the continuous professional development of our up-and-coming talent, and creating an advanced working environment for tomorrow. The Liebherr factory in Telfs is constantly investing in new manufacturing and control systems.
Because ‘the buck stops here!’
The Liebherr promise: the highest quality that delivers real tangible success for our customers.
