Twelve years, four generations, 100% robustness

With the MDC4, Liebherr's components product segment presents the fourth generation of its digital cameras for mobile machines. Based on over ten years of experience with digital cameras, the new camera has been designed to meet user requirements in terms of robustness, image quality and size. The image resolution also paves the way for the implementation of data-driven AI applications.

Assistance system by and for machine manufacturers: 360°person recognition for greater work safety and efficiency

At Bauma 2025, Liebherr-Components will be presenting the most recent version of its 360° surround view system. With the new generation of cameras and displays, the company is equipping its solutions with advanced, even more powerful components. It is also possible to retrofit existing machine fleets with the system.

LiGO injection systems – the new generation of sustainable injection technology

With LiGO injection systems, the Liebherr components product segment is launching an innovative product family specifically tailored to the demands of the mobility transition. Compact and revolutionary – new electric machines for off-highway applications

The newly developed electric machines by Liebherr offer manufacturers of mobile off-highway applications revolutionary added value. With the same power density of hydraulic motors, they provide for a significantly higher efficiency of an application: Simpler installation, low maintenance, little downtime and the much higher efficiency of 94 - 96 % turn the electric machines into technology leaders in their field.

Energy storage and energy planning for construction sites

The Liduro Power Port (LPO) is an energy storage system for power supply on construction sites. It allows for locally emission-free operation and charging of hybrid or fully electric construction machinery and equipment. The high power density and compact design of the LPOs enable an efficient and flexible supply of machines or construction sites with diverse power requirements.

Liebherr supplies slewing bearing for Europe’s largest lifting swing bridge

Liebherr’s components product segment supplies the heart of the rotating pillar for the bridge Friesenbrücke, which is being erected for Deutsche Bahn in Weener. It comprises a 5 metre, 12.5 tonne combined roller and ball bearing along with eight matching pinions. This rotating pillar and the associated mechanical systems by Hermann GmbH Maschinenbautechnologie support the 145 metre long, 1,800 tonne central section of Europe’s largest lifting swing bridge to date.

Liebherr supplies rope winches for the world's strongest ring crane

Dutch company Mammoet had big plans and ultimately put them to practice, having constructed the world's strongest onshore ring crane, also known as the SK6000. One of its key components – a gear ring rope winch – has been provided by Liebherr and enables the ring crane to lift extremely high loads.

Liebherr's Components product segment is further expanding its portfolio in the area of segmented slewing bearings. The segmented roller slewing ring, which was developed and manufactured at the site in Biberach (Germany), has an external diameter of 23.4 metres.
