The Opportunity:Liebherr-Australia is seeking a highly proficient and dedicated Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate and energetic to join our national team on an 18 month fixed term maternity leave coverage assignment. There may be an ongoing opportunity for the right person. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for the provision of effective and timely Human Resources (HR) and Industrial Relations (IR) services and advice that supports the achievement of LAS business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR team to develop and execute attraction, retention and development activities
  • Develop and implement innovative HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports, employment contracts/variations, presentations and correspondence
  • Develop and execute HR strategies and projects
  • Respond to HR and Employee Relations issues and problems
  • Maintain employee records on relevant data bases
  • Support and execute employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Execute end to end recruitment (Job Profile, Advertise, Interview, and pre-employment checks)
  • Manage and monitor utilisation of My Success HRIS system
  • Deploy HR Branding Initiatives which align with Recruit, Attract and Retain initiatives
  • Support the delivery of soft skills and leadership training programs
  • Support the Employee Performance Management process
  • Assist to develop and implement operational and strategic HR plans, policies, procedures, practices and initiatives
  • Back fill HR Business Partners during times of sustained absence/leave

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a HR Coordinator or equivalent role
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources
  • Experience delivering in-house soft skills and leadership training programs
  • Genuine desire to develop HR skills and advance career
  • Experience with end-to-end recruitment process including Visa management/International recruitment
  • Self-aware and self-driven with strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Energetic, affiliative, and collaborative team player with outstanding integrity
  • Achievement focussed with high level customer service skills
  • Passion for learning new things with high attention to detail and capacity to multitask
