We are seeking an IT Operations Analyst to support and optimize our virtualization and networking infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability. Your expertise in VMware vSphere and Cisco networking will be essential in maintaining our IT environment's availability and security compliance. Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments to ensure reliable and efficient virtualization across the infrastructure.
• Oversee the administration of Cisco Layer 3 switches, Wireless Controllers, and Cisco ISE to support and optimize network performance and security.
• Participates in daily operational support and service delivery of IT infrastructure by monitoring and responding to incidents and changes via the internal ticketing system.
• Administers user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage assignments according to best practices for privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in the management and deployment of servers, printers, networking equipment, supports workstation imaging and automation, IP telephony, and backup systems.
• Maintains inventory of installed software, hardware, and components in the IT Asset Management system.
• Acts as a liaison between staff and the IT department to resolve issues and ensure proper documentation, resolution, and closure of tickets.
• Creates and maintains all relevant documentation.
• Promotes and champions best practices, security policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• 5+ years of experience with Virtualization: Administration of VMware vSphere.
• 5+ Years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching: Administration of Cisco L3 switches, Wireless Controllers, Cisco ISE.
• 5+ years of experience with administration of Windows Server operating systems, Group Policy & Active Directory administration.
• 5+ years of working technical knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems, Dell PC Hardware, Cisco IP Phones, and current systems.
• CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, MCP certification(s) considered an asset.
