Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the design and optimization of components, assemblies, and systems while taking into account technical, scheduling, and financial aspects (design-to-cost based on customer requirements)
• You create 3D draftings of component assemblies with CAD systems, including surface modeling (for casting parts)
• You ensure the creation of 2D and 3D visualizations to clarify technical content and set up technical presentations
• You perform the basic component calculation (FEM/analytical)
• You are in charge of PLM management (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion, etc.)
• You ensure interdisciplinary cooperation with the corresponding departments within the project environment
• You cooperate with component suppliers to clarify technical properties of components and for common component development (co-design)
• You contribute to FMEA
• You act as design component referent for selected components across all engine platforms

Your profie

• You have successfully completed studies (university/ technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive manufacturing
• You possess experience in design in a combustion engine- related field
• You have basic technical knowledge of combustion engines (diesel, Gasoline and/ or Hydrogen is a plus), as well as basic understanding of simulation results (1D, CFD, FEA etc.)
• You are proficient in English (C1), you have a very good level of French and/ or German (B2)
• You have advanced knowledge in MS Office, PTC Creo and PLM Albatros, and you are familiar with ERP Systems
• You are autonomous, committed and flexible with an organized work ethic
• You are willing to work in a multicultural team and bring strong social skills
