To support our Data & AI team in Ulm, we are looking for motivated students in the area of Data Engineering.

An ideal candidate is a passionate data enthusiast, has a basic understanding of data processing and data management, some first experience with software engineering and is highly motivated to make an impact as part of our team.

Your responsibilities

• Consolidate, prepare, and stage data from various data sources
• Collaboration in the development of automated data pipelines to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Support extending our data platform using common software tools and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Databricks)
• Work together with the Data & AI team on advanced analytics and AI use cases

Your qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related technical field with a focus on Data Engineering or Data Science
• Advanced programming skills (e.g. Python)
• Basic experience with cloud providers and data technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Databricks)
• Interest for technological innovations and trends in data engineering and data science
• High degree of motivation & ability to collaborate in a team
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German & English
